    Wingmaster Question

I have an older Wingmaster 20gauge 2.75 chamber. I have a 20" IC deer barrel for it.

I want to try the rifled sabots.

Will an Express Barrel fit the gun?

I can't remember if the difference between Wingmaster and Express is just finish.

I see that Midway has an Express Rifled Barrel in blue, product #529-521.

    Thanks

Express bbls fit right on my 12 ga wingmaster, but even though the bbl is rated for 3" magnum loads, there is some doubt about whether or not the receiver (which is orig a 2-3/4's only gun) will take the additional stress. generally people say not to (even with a magnum bbl), but I can't tell anything different dimensionally from my magnum express vs. my older WM's (not incl the bbl dimensions, of course).

short answer: other 20 ga 870 bbls will slap right on without issue.

      Thanks.

Midway lists a factory Express barrel, 20gauge 2.75 chamber, rifled so that will be the one.

I know the Wingmaster and the Wingmaster Light Contour are different, was not sure about the Express and Wingmaster.

A good place to ask is over at www.shotgunworld.com. It's the best place I've found for questions like this.
