    Vang Comp Rem 870 Wingmaster

Just wanted to share a few pics of my 870 Wingmaster that's been "Vang Comp'd"...

Posting this now since there are a couple threads regarding extension tubes, barrels, etc. for 870's. Bought this wingmaster from another board member and decided I wanted to make this into a little HD gun. Didn't want the newer express models as the fit and finish is nowhere as close as the older scatterguns. I really liked the Mossberg ghost rings as they are super fast IMHO, but ended picking up a couple of Vang Comp ghost ring night sights from Brownells. Ended up getting busy and thought **** it, I'll send it to Vang Comp to get them soldered on. Bad mistake... All I wanted was a little ghost ring action and 800bucks later my little 240 dollar wingmaster turned into this

I worked with Mr. Vang and Cody at Vang Comp and came up with this. I wanted something strong, functional and a little old school class. The tacticool blacked out gauges are plentiful. I thought a little wood and bluing would look kinda cool. All I can say it shoots friken GREAT!!...

Sorry for the crappy pics, I'm not working today so no sculpted shots, just point-n'-shoots. Enjoy.

Your 870 is friggin' hot, man!!!

Is that the OEM Remington bakelite/resin pistol grip??? Beautiful!

The wood fore end with the folding stock is awesome...well done!
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
          Come on...what harm??

Thank you Sir! and Yes it's the OEM Rem bakelite/resin PG with metal stock.
Different strokes for different folks. Now I have to get over scratching it and drive it like it was stolen. I figured the extra money I put into it, future generations will appreciate it.

Yes, yes, yes...it would be a shame to put that in the safe and never use it!

T-shirt slogan of a classic motocycle shop: "Ride the son-of-a-b*tch or give it to someone who will!" Replace "ride" with "shoot" and you've got the right life plan!

              Wow...OEM Remington PG/Steel Folder. Nice!

I have GOT to stop looking at this rig...if I don't, I'm going to start Googling for a Remington PG/Folding Stock pretty soon and if I find one, that's it. I'm done!
