    Problem with my Turknelli

I have a Panzer M4 Benelli clone. Right after I got it I put a dozen birdshot or so through it because that's all the local range allows. The bolt hung up a little a couple times. Just a small bump was all it needed to go home. I was told it's common to need a couple dozen heavy loads through an M4 to get everything seated, so I managed to get to some BLM land to run some buckshot through it. It ran like a sewing machine through a box of 00. As an afterthought I decided to try some AA trap loads. I got click-no bang. No dent in the primer. Three different shells, which worked fine in my Maverick 88. Any ideas?

I should have tried the buckshot again but I didn't think of it.

    Google "Benelli Click"

Thanks! I thought it might be something like that, so I pushed the bolt handle forward. It did this weird thing where it moved about 1/8th of an inch, and then sprung back. I think it might be something about the AA trap hull, and the rim dimensions. Next time I have it out I'll try the buckshot I had and see if the bolt is as noncommittal as with the AA.

BTW, the links I found most were about the M2, but that might just be because they've been around so long. Mine is obviously a gas gun, but the bolt system might be very similar.

        Maybe difference in rim thickness?

Probably, that's what I said above.
