    Hastings barrel question

I was poking around on Ebay and came across a barrel that struck my interest
here is a link to the barrel

What does it mean by Lefthand??
Why is it such a long barrel and what is its intended use?
    34" is super long correct?
    What does wadlock mean?

    Thank you for your help

Left hand refers to the fact that the 870 it is intended for ejects shells on the left side vs the more common right.

If you think 34" is long, check out the 38" made by mossberg in the past!

Card shoots too- I have heard of 34" target barrels for 870s from the factory as well. Longest barrels you'll find in trap are 34" But usually on SBTs ... 30" is more common on trap pumps or semis ... But I do like my 32" Simmons ribbed mod 31

IIRC- I think some of those Hastings bbls are straight rifled? I think that's the 'wadlock'
