Cheaper how? That's an integrated light and it's $270.

A Surefire G2 can be had for around $40, you can remove it for other purposes, and a mount should be anywhere between $25 and $60 depending on what you buy.

That is $130 below MSRP for the entry level Surefire which is now the 317LM for a Mossberg. However, the Surefire weapon forends are time proven and their life time warranty is the best in the business. I don't know how this new forend is made, how it will stand up or how that company is as far as warranty. I don't like the constant on switch on it either and it seems harder to engage then the rocker switch on the Surefire. The dual pressure pad on it is a good concept since a lefthanded shooter would like that.

I would say for HD it may be worth a try, but for duty I would tell anyone to stick with the Surefire and let others be the test dummy for this new product. I am skeptical of any new product these days no matter who is the manufacturer as it seems rush to production is the norm and recalls becoming common place.

i believe OP means "cheaper than surefire's integrated forend and light." the least expensive model is MSRP $345.
