I shot a round of 5 stand at p2k with a friends 18.5" Remington a while back... I only hit 5 birds, but they didn't tell me I couldn't use it.

Gave up and went inside to rent a Beretta 3901 hit 15 birds. I'd rent a gun with the appropriate choke for trap.

At my local range I was looking at the posted sign last night and it said 18" or longer. I've been to ranges where they had longer barrel lengths posted.

At my club, Valley of the Moon, barrels must be 21 inches or longer. We also usually always have a gun or three on hand to loan.
