What is the hardest hitting 3 inch magnum slug?

So my best friend just bought himself a new Mossberg 590a1 for his birthday and I thought what better way to break it in than to nearly dislocate his shoulder? I want to get him a box of the meanest 3 inch magnum slugs for his birthday, but have been looking around and haven't yet been able to find a box of slugs that are harder hitting than average. Anyone got any recommendations?

go on midwayusa and look for what is carrying the heaviest load with the most muzzle energy

O ya you might want to check out duck, turkey, goose loads if you want some real thump

Make sure an open choke is in there if you are shooting slugs.

Federal Power-Shok 3" 1+1/4 oz. rifled slugs will certainly get your attention.

Some people over on Glock Talk are recommending the Brenneke Black Magic 1 & 3/8oz. I've never used them, but they sound devistating.

          BRENNEKE USA Black Magic Slug

          For Rifled or smoothbore Barrels
2 in. groups at 50 yards, 3 in. groups at 100 yards with smoothbore barrels
Brenneke 12 Ga. 3 in. Magnum Slug.
          BRENNEKE Black Magic Slug
One of the heaviest slugs on the market, the Black Magic Magnum is devastating on the biggest, toughest prey. It is so powerful that it is often the choice of professional guides in Alaska and Africa to back up their clients when hunting dangerous game.
Brenneke Slugs for superior hunting, tactical, and defense performance. Shop Green Lightning, K.O., Bear Protection, & more in 12, 20, .410 gauge.

I keep 5 of those on my Mossberg 500's butt stock. I was looking for the best round to send towards anything trying to eat me out in the woods. I shot one recently (3 bucks a pop after shipping) and the Echo through the mountains was incredible. Never heard anything like it before short of artillery/explosives. The kick was pretty good but not at all unmanageable. i'd hate to target practice with those for the sake of my wallet and my shoulder .
