Mossberg 590A1 Sling and Bayonet Lug

    Hey guys,

Has anyone figured out how to sling their 590A1 behind your back without the bayonet lug digging in? I love this thing, but it's killing me to wear it on my back with a sling. Trying to prep my bug out setup and I don't see myself throwing this thing on my back because it doesn't work.

Bayonet lug cover? Can't find one online, I may have to fabricate something?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks.
Good luck, stay safe, and keep em pointed in a safe direction.

Do you have the sling mount nut (sorry, don't know the proper term) screwed into the end of the magazine cap?

The simple solution is to screw this nut into the rear of the bayonet lug. Problem solved!

Maybe try loosening your sling too?

You could try a side mount plate that goes under the mag tube cap. Vang comp makes them i believe.
