    Adjustable stocks...yes/no?

    (if this has been beaten to death in another forum, I apologize)
    I have a remington 1100 (old) which I paired with a new barrel
    that has adjustable chokes.
    I am 5'11" and 165 lbs....average size.
    How does a person determine if they should get an adjustable stock?
    (like the Jack West).
    Most shotguns I bring up seem to align sights just fine. Is there something
    I am missing by having a regular stock?
    I shoot all the clay games BTW

    If the gun fits you, you are not missing anything except an extra expense by having not having an adjustable comb or buttplate.

    Adjustable is just cheaper than having someone custom fit a stock to you. But it is not cheap.
    What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?

      I think your height, weight, and size is about the right dimensions that the manufacturers use to design their stock. If it works don't waste your money.
