    shell pouches

Well I figure its time to get a shell holder

Im not sure if I want to go with a single box carrier or an actual pouch
    Im leaning towards a pouch

I have used Protektor bags for rifle shooting
their front and rear bags are of really good quality

I remembered that they did shell pouches so I thought I would check it out
    heres is what I found
The original source of leather sandbag rifle and pistol rests made in USA since 1938. Offering top grain leather shooting bags and rests for hunting, benchrest competition and long range shooting. Also manufacturing aluminum shooting rests, leather accessories, trap/skeet bags and rifle slings.

Has anyone tried that particular model??

One problem Im not sure if I might have is that I am very skinny
6' 140lbs, so yes I am tall and skinny
Will that have any effect on what pouch I should go for??

What are some other good suggestions in the $20-$30 ranges??

    Thank you for your help

This rig from Bob Allen works well and is ~$20 at most places I see it. A formed pouch that fits a box of shells and a nicely sized mesh bag for the empties.

I picked this one up from cabelas. It was the cheapest I've found does what it I need. I usually use a vest, but with summer coming a vest might not be a good idea.

Aww interesting that some of them have the mesh
Currently the shotgun I will be using is the new Remington 870 Wingmaster
I do not reload my shotshells and with a pump kinda hard to catch them

I like my Allen box holder. It's small and modern looking. I also like that with the box holders, since the shells are al nicely lined up in 5s, it's easy to see when it's time to rotate trap stations.

Well I totally forgot that Big5 has got gun stuff
I took a little trip down there

                I found 2 Allen pouches for $19 a piece
I picked up both of them

I'm all ready to go and celebrate Earthday

so much nicer than having to shove every pocket full of shells

I dont know why it took me so long to finally get a pouch

It is indeed handy. It also makes it quicker to reload instead of fumbling for shells in your pocket.

                      Now, go shoot!
