    The Winchester SX3

I don't see too much talk about this shotgun around here. In any case, I wanted to share my experience with it. Last year I bought the "flanigun" which is just an SX3 with face paint. Red receiver and mag cap. Has a long 30" barrel. This gun shoots like a dream for me and has a very soft recoil - especially with my 1oz loads @1150fps. It has cycled flawlessly through a few thousand rounds thus far - mostly light target loads. I feel it is probably one of the best autos out there.

This gun was in Davidsons april flyer. The deal you can get on a brand new one with a walnut stock is pretty good if you ask me. The metal on this version is a grey color so it has some uniqueness to it. The place I am looking at shows a price of $835 + tax/DROS. Considering the retail price is close to 1300 i think thats really good. I happened to look at winchesters site and right now they are having a rebate where winchester will pay your sales tax up to 8% I am finding it difficult to find a reason not to get a second one.

Anyone else have one or considering picking one up?

I too have a flanigun and have a second one. There has been alot of talk about it in the past posts on this forum (do a search) , either way, it's my favorite SG. The second one i got is in 3.5 since i wanted something with a bit more oomph and smaller barrel (28) , though it makes no difference with the 28 or 30 imho... also to tell you the truth, I even bought a SXP (pump) and that itself has been my favorite pump (although i still love remingtons)
