freshly installed Briley chokes!!

just got my Briley CYL and SK chokes in the mail today.... hopefully these babies will help improve my Skeet shooting!

Briley makes great product, if that doesn't do it for you try shooting 410 at skeet.

considering I was shooting Improved and Modified chokes prior to these, I've got to believe that a more open pattern will definitely be an advantage. still 100% focused on the mechanics though..... gun mount, watch the bird not the bead, keep your head down, proper lead, etc. I'm a newbie to Skeet, but I absolutely LOVE it! at this point, anything that will help me break more birds is welcomed!

nope, just looking to step up to a nicer shotgun! Beretta Onyx? NO WAY! but I wish... my shotgun is a Mossberg Silver Reserve. great field gun, but no way it's going to hold up to the abuse of a lot of skeet shooting. I'm kind of set on a Browning Citori XS Skeet model. the problem is that pesky $2900 price tag.

Hadn't really looked around Mossberg's catalog that deep, I suppose. Had no clue they had over/unders! Dang, that is a pesky price haha I was looking at that one on Browning's site. Although, I did move up my comfort zone from $1,500 to $2,000 so who knows

the Mossberg O/U's are imported from Turkey. I picked mine up for $599. it's a good looking shotgun and will serve me well as a field gun for upland birds for many seasons to come I imagine. it will bust clays for me until I get the 3K together I need for the Citori. sounds like you're in the ballpark at 2K. a lot of fine shotguns in that price range.

thanks for the good Ju-Ju!! I went to Prado and shot two rounds of Skeet this morning before work. still need work, but I shot my best round ever, 18 breaks!
