stevens model 320 pistol grip 12 gauge pump

I do not own a shotgun and am new to shotguns. Big 5 has the model 320 with sights on sale and was wondering what anyone thinks of the brand? I was looking into getting a fairly inexpensive 12 gauge and like the pistol grip style

I actually looked at one yesterday. Didn't like it. the quality and feel of it wasn't worth the price in my opinion. I ended up going with the 870 tactical. If you like the pistol grip and ghost ring sights, I would consider checking out the Weatherby PA-459. Aslo handled one of those yesterday and it seemed decent for the price.

Their okfor $199.00 I got the hawk 982 which is an 870 clone. For home defense only those two will be fine. Why spend $400 afor something that's gonna sit in your closet if you're not a rich man.

yeah I just wanted a low budget shotgun to take to the range every now and then. I was not focusing on a home defense gun just wanted to add to my collection. But im sure having a shotty at my disposal wouldnt hurt for home defense.....

If you're going for something for the range that would be a trap and skeet gun so I'd probably go with the mossy combo they have there. It's a model 500 with an 18 1/2 inch and a 28" I think. Really is a good deal.

The suggestion portion of my brain was broken yesterday lol. The mossberg combo negolien suggest would suit you well. You get an all purpose combo for just over $300.

I went to big 5 for the same Rifle after playing with it I ended up getting the mossberg combo for an extra $100 you can get a rifle that has great reviews try doing that on the 320 not many plus it felt cheap. If you want a gun to shoot at the range every once in a while go with the 320 but if you want an all purpose rifle get the mossberg you'll be happier in the long run
