Yeah - I call BS. Never maintained? And an automatic shot gun is EXACTLY what our military needs right now - yeah right! They have a hard enough time picking out bad guy from good guy in Iraq. What they need is something that will kill everything in their way. Don't get me wrong, I think it's cool. But a totally no recoil? Yeah - too bad I saw some recoil and how many huge guns has that guy shot? A lot. This weapon is very doubtful to be picked up by the US, only practical sense I could see of it is riot control with bean bags or pepper balls.

Would come in handy when those whiny smelly hippies start protesting...

I saw that when it aired on DiscoveryHD. There's also a .45 ACP version from that company. Both are supposed to be almost recoilless and barely any maintainance...

We don't use no steeenking DU no more! All tungsten rounds! Takes a little more time to go thru a drum of ammo than that, but still a good time! 75 rounds per second! Woohoooooo!

That would be very impressive if the recoil was minimal even if they were spitting out 3" slugs at 300 rounds/minute. Like getting hit with a roll of nickels. For a hand held weapon...impressive. About effeciency...I think the UAV, or UGV with weapons capabilities would win hands down. Yes, they cost a pretty penny, but what's the cost of a soldier?
