No. M1 and M2 barrels can both be used on the M1, but an M2 barrel will require an M2 forend. Montefeltro barrels attach differently, and are not compatible-- M1/M2 barrels have a loop that circles the magazine tube (like a Remington barrel) and the Montefeltros screw down directly to the front of the tube (more like a Mossberg).
