Buckshot ammo - Estate or RIO

Estate or RIO for buckshot blasting ammo?

Would you use either for HD?

Both good for blasting.Try it and see how it patterns in your gun for home defense and if it is good I would use them.

+1. Also a side note, Rio is not exactly 2.75" its probably closer to 3" shells. Not a big deal.
Bounce a ball in Football that's a fumble. Baseball, no bouncing at all. Bounce a ball in Hockey, well that's a mandatory drug test right there...

it is an issue, more than likely it will short load your tube by 1 round.

I bought a bunch of Rio 00buck a while back and it worked flawlessly in my Mossberg 500. No FTE or FTF.

Both will work for practice absolutely. If they run well in your gun, they both can be used for HD. Bear in mind that at typical maximum HD distances the pattern is usually going to be two or three inches at most. Even cheapo Wolf buckshot will get the job done if the person on the gun does theirs.
