I'm going to sell my shotgun. I'm in the Sac area. My questions is I want to sell it legally. So what are the rules? Do I have to go to a ffl to do the transaction? Can I just sell it like its no big deal out of the back of my trunk (only a example)? Is there a wait time for the buyer? I appreciate all the help! Thanks

If it is over 50 years old you don't need a FFL.If it is under 50 you need a FFL to do a private party transfer.

Its a Mossberg 590 so its not 50+. 10days for the buyer....bummer. Thanks for the info.
