What setup did you get your Mossberg in? I just took my 590a1 to an outdoor range a week ago, had a "blast!" I was worried at first about buying the model with the plain bead sight but it seemed to kill cans and skeets just fine. Congrats on new shotgun. Can't wait to get my 930 tomorrow. Piratelife76 I'm also planning on going to Los Altos sometime with the new gun. I will probably go to Sunnyvale today or tomorrow. We'll have to meet up there sometime and you can try the semi auto out if I can try the pump out
Shellslinger...where do you shoot in SB? I went to school down there and love the place...visit pretty often too as my parents live down there and that is my favorite place in the world to go road cycling.

Thanks everyone. I got the 20" model with 8+1 capacity with the bead sight. Not in love with the blued finish but I've always wanted to paint one of my guns. We'll see what happens.Comment

Haha for sure. Actually I don't know of any ranges around Santa Barbara, I usually wait until I go home for weekends to go shooting. I'm actually a student at UCSB.
