Need help from Left-Handed Shotgunners

In my experience, it is nice to see into the chamber without having to move the gun from a ready position. As reliable as pump shotguns are, there is still room for operator error, and being able to quickly recognize and fix or reload is quite an advantage over right handers. I've never had an issue with hulls or gasses in my face, nor any indexing shells to throw into the chamber when the gun is empty. I think either a Mossberg or a modified or lefty 870 are both great choices, especially if you get some instruction on how to run them properly.

I also shoot left handed. I've got almost 200 shells doen my 870 with zero issues of gasses or shells.

Once you know the safety it's really no big deal to engage or dissengage. I choose the std version so my son's could also use it right handed
