S&W 1012, anyone tried one?

I just saw the S&W catalog and they have the 1012 semiauto shotgun. Has anyone shot this gun and can offer comments? How does it point and shoot? How does it compare to a Remington 1100?

They used to sell shotguns back in the day, and they were made by other companies (Howa in Japan comes to mind, but I may be mis-remembering).
