What Should I Know About Triple B Clays

I'm thinking about taking a cop buddy of mine to Triple B Clays in Whittier Narrows. I've been there before and had a less than pleasant experience. Anyway, I want to know what I should know about the place before I go there. I tried calling them, but the machine said check their website. The website has rates and hours, but I want to know the rules and regulations. After writing this, I'm inclined to go to Prado.

Calguns give me your knowledge, please.

What do you want to know?

No short barreled guns under 21" I believe. No pistol grip only stocks, only load two shells NO MATTER HOW MANY YOUR GUN HOLDS.

    NO SLUGS OR BUCKSHOT.
    Birdshot 7.5, 8 or 9 ONLY.

What made your last visit unpleasant ?

Just shot a few hundred targets there today. Honestly the first time I went there I was less than impressed with their customer service skills. What you have to realize though is that place gets slammed with a huge amount of shooters. A good percentage of those are newbies and it can be hectic there some days trying to make sure everything runs safely. It helps if they get to know you. It's a high volume place, set 'em up and shoot 'em down...repeat all damn day.

All the things that YSR said above apply. I don't know if this applies to you but if you bring a HD shotgun you will get looks from the geezers who will wonder what you are up too. It's like riding a mountain bike on a motocross track, it can be done but it's the wrong tool.

You didn't mention what discipline you wanted to shoot but the sporting clay targets are top notch. Station 12 has some stellar targets on it. If you can hit those, you can hit them all.
