    Non/Less-Lethal Ammo?

Since I cannot seem to find a consistant answer, it's time to ask the experts... Is non-lethal or "less-lethal" ammunition for a .12ga shotgun illegal to own and/or use in California?

I'm referring to rubber ball or bean bag ammunition. I know it's available online, but I haven't seen it locally, even at gun shows...

    Anyway, thanks.

Outstanding. Do you (or anyone else reading this), have a suggestion of where to buy it?

Besides rubber ball or bean bag, what else is there and what is legal and illegal?

I have cayenne pepper shots. Wish I could find some in 2 3/4 though (anyone?).
Firequest.com for less than lethal rounds (it's where I purchased mine).

Last time i read the non-lethal rounds such as sand bags and rubber rounds were illegal to purchase in california. They can only be purchased by LEO i believe. Which makes no sense to me, but half of california's gun laws make no sense so i never bother with it.

Please cite the law. I bet you can't!!!!! Some companies will not ship to anyone except LE or MIL but, private companies' policies do not make laws.
