I have a 1969 1100. Field grade stock...no recoil pad.
26" skeet choke barrel. It is in excellent shape.
My question is: it feels a lot heavier than anything else
that is being shot. Are there aftermarket (or remington) parts
which can be substituted to lighten...without screwing it up?
Also, will a recoil pad affect a semi-auto's ability to cycle
properly...or is that an urban myth? If no problem, are some
recoil pads preferred?
Thanks for any info.

A vintage 1100 Skeet would be a treasure to many an old poop (myself included) and you could get yourself a more modern example already modded.
