Go to saiga12.com they have a bunch of stuff on 922r compliance. I believe ive also seen a 922r calculator im sure you can run a search for on this site.

I still need to take my S12 out still remains unfired and a safe queen. And yes they can shoot slugs and actually usually do better with a heavier load until you fine tune the gas adjustment. (From friends that have fired theirs)

It seems more and more with the new ones this isnt the case as much so. Maybe im wrong, but most of the 2011 models Ive seen with the larger barrel hood extension dont seem to have an issue with the light target loads or bird shot. The only thing I have done to the gas system is a CSS puck, and I can shoot everything from Slugs to Birdshot, and she runs like a rabid ape!

Take yours out, I bet it runs fine!
