Need a Recipe for 12 ga. Sporting Clays

I recently acquired some powder from a friend who is not reloading anymore. I have reloaded for several years using 700x as my primary powder with RXP12 Wads and Peters Shells. Primers have typically been Win 209's, 1 1/8 #8

The supplies I have acquired are:

    Powder =
    Accurate 8700
    Unique
    Red Dot

I'd like to use the Peters hulls I have and Win 209 Primers. I too have a load of Rem RXP Wads I'd like to utilize. I have looked at the online recipe sites from each of the mfg. and none of them give a clear recipe using these combo's/ As i mentioned this would be for Sporting Clays using 1 1/8 shot.

Might anyone have a recommendation using these new powders for me? I am open to modifying my shot size with anew bar for my MEC Grabber 8567 if necessary.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, John

Accurate 8700 is useless in a shotgun...

For Unique and Red Dot, I'd suggest you search the Alliant database.. they have many loads from light 7/8 oz target loads to higher velocity field loads with the latter two powders.

      use this:

      remington hull
      RXP 12 wad
      winchester 209 primer
      26 grn Unique
      1 1/8 oz shot

I think that is exactly what you are looking for.
