Anyone know which receiver this is?

Actually, this is a picture of the Stevens 320 pump but I want to know which design did they copy this from. I am assuming, of course, but I don't believe this is a new design.

Why do you assume it's a copy of something? Stevens/Savage has been building shotguns for decades.

    Stevens 620a c. 1940s

Makes me think of the shotguns Charles Daly was importing a few years ago, pretty sure they were Turkish and now they are under the Weatherby name.

Wow, that does look very close doesn't it?

I guess the reason why I think it is a copy is because of the price. Big5 has the pistol grip version for $199. In my mind, I can't fathom a new design to be sold for that much. So yeah I have no concrete reason, call it gut feeling if you wish.

Yep, in looking at the Savage site, they are Akkar shotguns, made in Turkey, for Savage under their Stevens line. Can't find/load any info that says it is a direct copy of anything, but at least they have a warranty through an American company.

After doing a bit of research, Savage has imported the Stevens line from China, and I'm inclined to say that the Stevens 320 is a copy of a Winchester 1200/1300 pump action while the Stevens 350 is a copy of the Ithica 37.
IAC is importing reproduction Winchester 1897s from China also.
            YMMV

I think we got a winner! Yeah the 1200/1300 looks exactly like that.

I have the 350 security (ghost ring, fiber optic sights) and love it, two things I don't like about it are 1. it is harder to combat reload because there is no side ejection port and 2. the trigger is stiff. I might have to head on down to our big5 and fondle the 320 a bit.
