All:
My Dad just gave me his shotgun: a ca. 1970s Remington 1100 Magnum "for 3" shells." I'd like to take it duck hunting this weekend but wasn't certain if the 70s vintage of Remingtons (or this gun in particular) was any different as far as shell requirements vs available info on the Remington site (Dad tried to get me to use his 70s vintage shells but I am fearful they lead-based and not good anyway). I assume I can just by 3" steel waterfowl shells and be ok. Please let me know if I am missing anything.
Thx.
John
