    870 Question

I just picked up an 870 from another Calgunner and brought it home. I placed a couple of snap caps, tested it and no problem. After the initial test I'm now unable to load it and the magazine tube seems locked and won't budge. Any ideas? Here's a picture. I'm not sure what that green thing is . Yup, I'm new to the shotgun world.

The green thing is the Hi-Vis magazine tube follower. As for it being stuck, try moving the pump all the way forward and pushing harder? Unless a small piece of something got stuck on the side of the follower, there shouldn't be that much that's making it stick.

It took awhile and several cycles but it cleared up. I guess when the guy I purchased it from said BNIB, never fired, he meant it .

A few hundred rounds down range would take care of that

... or just play with it some more at home.

Snap caps have a plastic rim if I remember, that can wear down after awhile
