Quick question , I know legal barrel length is 18 in and overall length is 26 but can you cut down your barrel to let's say 14 in as long as you don't go under the legal overall length or do you have to have both.

Both minimum barrel length and minimum overall length must be satisfied. -
theres a CG member named EvilBlackRifleWorks. he has a store in LA, and he does great work on different guns, especially AOW. it seems to me that you want a shorter barreled shotgun but are stuck with the no SBS law in CA. check this out.

Yeah, cutting down the barrel and having a longer whatever else is not gonna fly. Keep your battrel at 18.5 and you'll be ok. Anything shorter, save up your money and buy a AOW/tax stamp.Be the change that you wish to see in the world.Mahatma Gandhi
