What's the Difference from a Regular and 625 Citori?

Is there a significant difference between the regular and 625 citori's?

I'm not sure what you mean by "regular".

Browning makes a bunch of different configurations of the Citori. They're mostly the same with different stocks, and different ribs. The only real different one is a Cynergy.

Oh ok, I thought the 625's were more different than the other citori's but I guess its just another diffence in stock, finish, weiight, etc. like you mentioned.

YSR is correct regarding the "Citori" line of shotguns. The Citori is the flagship Over-Under of the Browning line. Browning has manufactured Citori shotguns for many, many years. The differences between the many Citori's is the features of each of the individual guns. The action is pretty much the same for all Citori's. The 625 has, what I feel, is a very unattractive checkering pattern on the stock and forearm. Too each his own. Browning is also coming out with their "725" line of shotguns very soon. I believe Browning's website has information for the "725".

        I own the following "Citori's":
        12 gauge Citori - Field Grade - 26" Barrels
12 gauge Citori XT - Trap Model - 32" Barrels - Monte Carlo Stock
        12 gauge 525 Sporting - Sporting Clays Model - 32" Barrels - Standard Stock
        20 gauge Citori - Field Grade - 26" Barrels

They are great shotguns and you will not be disappointed with one.

Actually, in the past Browning has made 325's, 425's, 525's, 625's, and the 725 comes out soon.

They also made Hunters, Ultra XS and Ultra. They're all basically the same except for cosmetics, and stock configuration.

The early run of guns from Japan were just called "Citori", a name Browning made up for the new line of japanese builds. My 1985 model is just marked Citori on the bottom of the receiver. Later, as the line expanded, they added 325, 425, etc., also shown on th bottom of the recievers. All O?Us made in Belgium before that were name "Superposed", also in various grades.

                  Thanks for the inout all!

Going to try and shoulder a few different makes of O/U this week to see how well they fit. Will report back on whether the Citori fit the bill or not.
