    Benelli or Beretta which one?

Looking at a Benelli Nova 12ga 3.5" mag and a Beretta 3901 12ga 3" mag both are semi auto both come with 3 chokes. Is the Beretta worth the extra $220 bucks? I have no experience with either gun. I am looking at these guns for bird hunting and some skeet or trap shooting. Thanks

What's your hunting/clay ratio? My experience (and what my hunting friends say..and what I read from the "experts" on shotgun world and Sporting Clays magazine) is that a get dirty, fall in the lake, full of gravel nasty.....pick it up and it'll shoot; Can't beat the Benelli with anything. Not to say the Beretta isn't amazing but the piston (Benelli) vs gas cyclinder (Beretta) is far superior in terms of nasty-dirty and still shoot reliablity with less (just less, not gone) maintainence.

If you're looking to pimarily shoot clay and occassionaly birds, go Beretta. I've shot and cleaned them both many times. If I were out hunting - Benelli. If I were shooting clays - Beretta.

Splitting hairs here because both are top of the line for each application. So, WHICH ONE FITS YOU BETTER? GET THAT ONE!

That's like asking, Ford or Chevy. It's all up to you.

My preference has been with Benelli out of the two...but mostly Remington since you didn't ask.
