Remington did not raise the price so the seller did. So shop around.

They feed directly from the manufacture & distributors, & don't manually set prices (or so they say) so I truly don't think that is it...Unless 870's in A-tacs have become high demand.

From what I've seen this has gone up a number of places - gunbroker etc...

Hopefully, it will come down some. If not, I'll be getting an AR sooner rather then later.

I've done a lot of shopping around on this item, believe me; this place was the cheapest, and offers free shipping. Other places had it a bit lower but wanted a good amount for shipping (negating any savings).

Hopefully, it will go down some in the future. : (

I feel your pain.

I've been waiting patiently, saving up disposable income pennies to buy a full Colt M-16a2 parts kit (has everything but the lower) here: http://e-sarcoinc.com/search.aspx?find=AR340

About 2-3 months ago, the price was $475, now it's jumped to $495 (was at $490 a few days ago). Sorry, it's lost it's appeal. Needless to say, I used the money saved up for it elsewhere, and I'm just going to go the patient route and pick up what I want where the seller has failed me from a gun show, gunbroker, or CGN marketplace.

No regrets, the seller has saved me the trouble of trying to build my own(second) AR from a bag of parts now.
