Congrats! Make sure to do a good cleaning on it prior to shooting it. And try not to mod it out before shooting it, you might find that you like it plain jane stone stock (after countless configuations, my HD870 is becoming less "fancy" with every passing day.

I too have heard of numerous problems particularly with newer Express model 870s---rough chambers, broken extractors etc. There are many many slightly used older Wingmasters and Police models available---I would hunt one of those down before I would except any of the newer product. Just my two cents...
