So what do you S12 peeps use to drop mags with a "bullet button"? (mag lock a better term?) Obviously, a spare round won't work for us.
I usually have a multi-tool with a dull socket attachment in my range bag. Or a key if I forget that. Is there a better option? Does it matter?
I was thinking about trying to attach something to a glove. Just gotta reinforce it enough so it'll flip the latch, but not so much that it becomes cumbersome or interferes with my shooting.
Also, not sure if having a small metal (or plastic? less scratching?) bit protruding from a glove would then make the glove some kind of weapon? I'm not thinking Freddy Krueger. Just something small and blunt.
I haven't heard of anything, but does anyone know if you can mod a bullet button on a Saiga 12? As long as it still requires a tool it should be OK, right? I was thinking about a small hole in the back just in front of the trigger guard. That way I could push the latch from behind instead of come up from the bottom. (sounds so wrong) but my Saiga isn't converted. Doubt you could do that if your trigger guard was right up against the BB hood shroud thing.
OK. Enough rambling.
