Norinco vs New England 870

I've own both and the original 870.

New England LLC makes far better "copies" than Norinco.

**** the Hawk, go with a real Rem or the NEF.

They might be built similarly but the recoil on the NEF lets you know the difference.

Was there a price difference and any obvious material, fitting, or quality diffs?

Price was the same $230 about for each gun with DROS and tax.

Fitting and quality was the same.

Both guns were broken down to trigger assemblies and action bars. However the only difference was a 1970's wood stock to the NEF. Same recoil pad.

Interesting as they one is from the Freedom Group (Remington) and one was a copy.

What is true is that you don't get an 870 unless you pay for one. If you pay less you get less

Can you provide specific examples of where this is true, when comparing the 2 guns?

What I've read online says that the 2 guns are pretty much the same, except the one that costs more has more plastic parts in it (compared to the other one that is cheaper and has more metal parts in it).
