    Want a Screw?

I'll omit the long story that led to this, but I wanted to replace the safety on my Mossberg 590 with the Cavalry Arms SST-590 safety (http://www.cavalrymanufacturing.com/SST-590-S.html). To do this, I followed directions which suggested you need to replace your safety screw. It may not technically be necessary, but that screw's a pain in the *** (it's a proprietary head), so replacing it with a phillips head made sense.

Anyway! I needed the replacement screw, and had a choice between paying about $.40 for a screw plus a few bucks for shipping, or $3 or so (and free shipping) for 100 screws. So I went with the latter approach.

Which basically means I've now got 99 (I installed one) screws to replace the proprietary screw Mossberg uses on their safety. Specifically, these are here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MWDFBM

So I have no real use for them. And I figured MAYBE someone else would be interested in one or two.

    So here's what I'm thinking:

If you PM me with your name and address, and whether you want one or two, I'll mail them to you. Free. I'll cover the postage.

Given that this will cost me something like $.34 per requestor, I'd appreciate it if you think a little about whether or not you'll actually use it before you ask for it.

So that's the offer: Replacement screw for Mossberg 500/590 safety. Perfect length, stainless steel, phillips head, free.

(I'm not putting it up in the marketplace because I'm not trading or charging anything -- I apologize if this is the wrong place to put this)

Definitely awesome, PM sent. I'll gladly give you a buck for shipping and time. A buck isn't too much for screws and shipping, and that way you might be able to get a little money back for helping out Calguns.

I thought this was a Neil McAuley thread.

Thanks for the support! As a new Moosy 500 owner myself, I may be looking you up if I ever decide to upgrade the safety.
