Kel-Tec Shotgun (KSG)

So who will be getting one when they finally start sell/shipping? The more I look at this thing, the more I want it, and want it now.

The KSG is our first entry into the shotgun market. The size, shape and design are similar to the currently available Kel-Tec RFB rifle, but the KSG ejects downward, instead of forward. The KSG weighs 6.9lbs and is as compact as legally possible with a 26.1" overall length and an 18.5" cylinder bore barrel. Even with this compact size, the internal dual tube magazines hold an impressive 14 rounds of 12 gage 2-3/4" rounds (7 per tube).

Thinking about 14+1 in a shotty makes me tingle...

The reviews had me drooling too. I am a worry-wart though. I'll sit by and see how they do after several years of regular use; do small parts break, are there bigger issues, etc.
Until then I'll stand by with my trusty 870s for HD and fun shooting. But I'm sure I'll be a green eyed monster as soon as I see one at the range.

Me too, I always wait till like second production runs, just to see how the first fair. I mean it would be cool to have one of the firsts, but I can't even put a deposit down anywhere.

Funny, I'm going to picking up an 870 in Atacs camo in the mean time. Thumbs up!!!

They've only been taking pre-orders for a Keltec for about a year? That would be considered an early release for Keltec. They typically run 2-3 years behind their release dates...

Seriously, this thing has been delayed and delayed. Kel-tec can't even keep up with production of existing products.

I will be getting at least one! I have one on order with a local dealer and I'm #5 on the list(the first four people in line are LEO's) and I have one on order with another local dealer and I'm #2 on the list(the guy ahead of me I'm told is also an officer). So I guess in my area its only me and the police who want one! haha

Bad luck. I talked to a guy at Turners last month and he said that they are no longer taking preorders for the KSG. It turned out they have over 700 some preorder slots filled with deposits, but they haven't even transferred a single KSG shotgun to fulfill any of our orders. I had a Mossberg bullpup, that was the original so I am okay sitting this one out.

With Keltec you have to wait at least a year. Look how many times the pmr has went back to the drawing board after release
