What ever happened to those who pre-ordered the S-12 exp-01-030 from reddragunweapons?
I heard the guns are stuck in limbo.
If the VEPR-12s come that will be the day.

Rusty, one thing I noticed about the one that's supposed to by imported from Red Dragun is that the stock and trigger position is similar to the current Saiga models. I saw a post of the Saiga 12 forums and a guy was holding the version that was supposedly going to be imported here. The front end has the polymer handguards, but the buttstock looks identical to the thumbhole stock on the Vepr rifles currently in the country. Looks good, but a little off between the polymer front and wood rear. Trigger looks to be in the correct/original position.sigpicComment

I think the one you're talking about is from a member living in New Zealand or something... I've seen Saiga12 forum members posting their pictures of original/untouched shotguns and then see they're located outside the US.Rusty, one thing I noticed about the one that's supposed to by imported from Red Dragun is that the stock and trigger position is similar to the current Saiga models. I don't know if those things ever made it in, but I know there were a lot of people wanting a refund or their gun.
I won't get too excited yet... not even when they say taking pre-orders. I'll get excited when the Vepr-12 gets here or when I see a member posting pics of theirs on Calguns. Besides the prices for these things will be outrageously out of my price range. (probably double the amount of a converted S-12.)
