I just bought a GG&G sling plate for a Mossberg 590 (not A1) and, when I fit the factory bolt back through the stock and through the GG&G, there's barely a quarter-inch of threading left to couple with the receiver.
Only thing I can think of that won't alter my stock is to find a longer bolt at Home Depot.
Has anyone else run into this problem with the GG&G sling plates? What was your solution?
I'm debating two things right now:
1) Take the bolt to Home Depot and find a longer one
2) Take a dremel into the stock and shave down the bolt hole so the bolt sits a little deeper.
What was your solution?
