    Rem870 Stock Removal

Does anyone have a list of tools or type of tool needed to remove a stock from a Remington 870? Not just the kind of tools but what size is that tool?

    Thanks in advanced?

sup bro, you'll need a philips screwdriver to remove the 2 screws that hold the buttpad onto the stock, then you'll need a somewhat long, flathead screwdriver for the bolt that holds the stock into the receiver. pm me for anything else.

yeah a #2 Philips for the butt pad, you stretch the holes a bit. but they come back into place.

Some lubricate the Philips with something like Vasoline to minimize scaring of the butt pad.
