Crap... Need help putting back together a Mossberg 930 SPX

Well, I screwed up with taking apart my new Mossberg 930 SPX and need a bit of guidance to put this back together! Can somebody with a 930 SPX check these photos and tell me which way is correct to reassemble the gun?

I was attempting to better understand the gas porting system (which I figured out and think Mossberg did an excellent job with this) and completely disassembled the gas port area. As you can see, there is one part that is different between the pics.

For somebody that can take apart their 930 SPX, do you have that little ring in front of your gas piston? If not, then that little ring goes on the other side. Funny enough, Mossberg doesn't outline the parts on the right side (I guess it's not meant to be field disassembled) to clarify my issue. I also can't seem to find a Mossberg armorer's manual.
