Side saddle for shells on a Benelli M2

Already googled. To many to deceide.

I am looking for a shell holder for the side of my Benelli M2. I have to place an order with Midway or Brownells. They both have quite a few.
    Hard plastic or elastic better??

I am leaning toward one that is held on by Velco so it is easy to take off if needed.

I would like extra shells for 3gun competition.

    Suggestions??

Get the one with the Velcro. You never want to bolt on a shell carrier on a auto shotgun.
I ran the one from 3 GUN GEAR. Great product. Over 7 years of use.
If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting

I have not seen the velcro item.
However at the Knob creek shotgun jungle walk competition ,all the competitors used a hard plastic side saddle type.
The winner both years used a remington self loader --1100 as I recall

not sure why it was posted not to have this type, but am certain there is a reason for posting same

A bunch of my friends and I have benellis. the tackstar is only held in on the takedown pin for the trigger group. That pin has a tendency to sheer off. Mine was bent but a couple of mine had their side saddles fall off during ipsc matches. We all swapped to the velcro ones and they work great.

Thank You -- I have not had a problem you talked about ,but will check out the velcro model.
Anyone who knows me would call me a big fan of velcro.

Mesa Tactical also makes side saddles. I would opt for the M2 version with the rail. This way you can have the the side saddle also supported by the threads on the top of the receiver.

Here's one from 3gun. Top quality with heavy duty scuba webbing . Mark's a great guy but super busy with orders. Might have a wait but worth it.
