I think I will be looking for a used over/under. Next problem is to learn how to tell the condition of a used gun.

For o/u's, main thing is to look for galling/deformity on the surfaces of the hinge. Don't buy if there is uneven wear or pockets. Also look at the lever. Guns with a lot of life in them have the lever off to the right. Those that need an overhaul have them to the left. Good guns like the citori will still have the lever off to the right after thousands of rounds. Just a general rule of thumb.

Two different chokes for the O/U as well, if it matters to the shooter.
