Anyone have an update on the ca legal ksg?? I've had it on deposit at turners for ever.....

Man when I see them 3 letters (KSG) I get super excited, Last I heard probably the same as your info should be coming out before the end of this year. But there is also the rumor how Kel-tec does not deliver on expected dates. All this waiting is killing me! I got my eyes set on the OD Green. Has Turners mention anything? If I hear anything I'll be sure to pass it along!

Hi Robert,


The Sub-2000s are on backorder at the moment due to demand and materials availability and I’m really not sure how long it may take to get through them though.

We divide them evenly between our 30 wholesalers every month, but they have long backorder lists that need to be filled before they can fill newer orders. Since we ship to wholesalers, then they to dealers, there’s no way for us to know where or when they will ship the firearms. If you’ve placed an order or are looking to, it will depend on which wholesalers your dealer uses (or hopefully, multiple), if they still have backorders to fill before filling newer orders, as well as how many the wholesalers have on order with us.

We’re hoping to see the KSGs shipping by year’s end, if not before. There’s no exact date set yet though. We want to make sure we have all the bugs out of them first. Keep checking our website at www.keltecweapons.com and we’ll post an update as soon as a date’s known. Also, many dealers (not us) are already taking preorders for them now, so you should really try to get in line as soon as possible. MSRP $880.

^^^Nice thanks for sharing the letter, When they say "We want to make sure we have all the bugs out of them first". I hope they address the issues "NutnFancy" mentioned on his youtube vid review, he did bring up very good points!I guess we will have to wait and see!

They've officially announced that they've fixed the trigger reset and that it now takes 3 1/2" shells. I'm too tired to find the link ATM.

^^^^Wow, you weren't joking about forever huh, March is a long time! March 2012 is just around the corner too. Glad I am not alone on this one. BTW would anyone do if and when the release this KSG is Kel-Tec only going with black first then wait a coupe of months the release the OD green and FDE?

They've already hinted that OD and other colors will likely be a second run/gen2 deal.

BTW, my deposit has been in since February.

Looks like Kel Tec needs to add a second shift or start working OT. WTF? If I had people wanting to give me money I would be cranking out product.

According to statements from KSG, the delays have been due to bugs they had to work out, not production delays.

I have debating on if I should go on down to Turners and put down a deposit on the KSG. I cant wait for this gun to come out.

Last I heard Turner's is no longer taking deposits. Currently 200 promised for the first shipment but already 230 orders.
