    870 Magazine/Barrel Clamp

After getting the phone book for searching this....I know there is other brands, other than Mesa Tact (Not that they're bad, I just want to see what else is out there), but I can't recall them. Thanks!

    Barrel Clamp

Checkout CDM www.cdmgear.com and see if they have something you can use.

If it is just to secure the Remington Extension then use the barrel bracket that comes with the Extension. If it is mount a light then there are multiple options. What is it that you want the device to do?

Nordic components makes a very nice clamp with or without a rail.

The Nordic clamp I had did not quite fit my mag tube. I found out the Nordic mag tube is made a little larger and that is why the clamp is bigger. Stick with something metal like Mesa Tactical or CDM Gear. Daves Metal Works makes a nice thin clamp too if you just want to hold the barrel and mag tube. Don't go with anything plastic because they can break. I found out the hard way and went back to something solid.

Thank you gentlemen. It was CDM that I was looking for...

JD, I want to use this for a light mount. I have TLR-1 that I want to mount.

The BMT or MT will do but make sure you only get the 3 slot rail. Also, the light has to be mounted centered on the rail to midigate slipage of the clamp. If you get the BMT then make sure you get the pads to apply to the bracket also as this helps prevent damage to the finish of the barrel and mag tube.

The MT has less issues with slippage so I recommend that one.

Ah I did not know that, my 870 has a NC tube extension so it works fine for me. Thanks for the heads up!
