    Anyone know if this TacStar light & mount is any good?

    I am looking to place it on a Moss 500 for HD...

      Tac star is airsoft grade at best. Without going into the design issues, I'll just say no based on brand alone.

        is the current market pick for mounts. Mine from brand nameless slide under fire unless shimmed with vinyl.

          IMO you'd do better buying a better quality flashlight and a mount from CDM gear. The Elzetta shotgun unit (link above) is nice, their AR unit not so much, IMO.

            For the flashlight (since it should be mounted and left mounted as if it is now part of the gun ), I've been really happy with the Streamlight Polytac LED lights (that recommendation is about the only thing I could recommend from CDM Gear BTW). They use the CR123 lights, but for how little you will actually use the mounted light, each set will last you a very long time.

            Like I said in the other thread, you can spend a little now and more again latter, or just spend a little more now.
