    Officially a gun owner!

Finally after a tough 10 days, I picked up my first gun ever! Nothing too fancy, just an 870 wingmaster that will be uses primarily for HD. It has a 20" barrel with rifle sights. Hoping to eventually purchase a side saddle and possibly a flashlight in the future. I'll probably keep the wood furniture on it rather than give it the blacked out look most tactical shotguns have because I think the wood is cool. Onto the pics!

Congrats! Those rifle sighted barrels are very accurate with slugs.

I like your taste, congrats. I highly recommend that you go practice and take a class if you plan to use it for HD.

Yeah I'm actually planning to take some kind of defensive shotgun course sometime in the future. I know blackwater(now XE) has a facility here in SD that has a course but it's pricey so that might not be for a while

My first firearm was a Remington shotgun too. I also took a two day shotgun course within the first three months of owning the shotgun (front sight). Good thinking!

                    Enjoy!

nice, an 870 was also my first fire arm, and to this day is still my favorite! super reliable, super simple, proven performance! Just stay away from those 100 value winchester packs at wally-world. For some reason everyone i know whit an 870 has trouble with them (including me) Nice gun!
