I really want to cut my barrel down!

I really want to cut my Saiga 12 barrel down.Gun has pistol grip and has been converted. Does anyone know how short is legal in California? Thanks guys!

Shotgun barrel length is a federal requirement - 18'

Federally the the overall length of the gun must be 26" also.

18 inches is the legal minimum barrel length although most cut it at 18 1/2. if you have the 19 inch barrel you are basically cutting off the threads IMO not worth it

you mean like the little 8 inch barrel style? Usually out of state or maybe some sort of special permit to own one?

you could always go the AOW route if you wanted a compact Saiga 12

Unless something is changed, you're wrong. The barrel length it measured with the bolt closed.

Yeah I just found info. MAN this state is now stopping me from three guys I want.

This state will not stop you from doing anything with three guys as long as you're all consenting adults, other states have some old fashioned laws on this subject though.
