I havent been able to find any other ones, but what type of upgrade do you want to do.sigpic -
the heavy walled barrel was made for the military, so the barrels wouldn't get dented up as much, from what I heard. I'm pretty sure the barrel will work, the only difference between an A1 and a regular 590 is just the plastic trigger guard vs metal trigger guard.Originally posted by burger and friesThat's good to know. I always wondered why they made a heavy-walled barrel version. I suppose it has to do with the bayonet, but I can't be certain.
Anyway, I contacted Mossberg by email and 590A1 barrels are available if anyone else was wondering the same thing. However, I forgot to ask if the heavy barrel would fit the 590 Special Purpose.Bounce a ball in Football that's a fumble. Baseball, no bouncing at all. Bounce a ball in Hockey, well that's a mandatory drug test right there...Comment

Don't forget the metal safety lever.A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

I'm pretty darn sure that some 500 breacher barrels, 590 barrels, 590A1 barrel and 835 barrels are all interchangeable (on 6 shot models). They all have the same ring that fits over of the mag tube, not the 500 style that lines up with the end. Barrels for the 20" are harder to find.
Whenever they look like these below, they work.

But there are some standard 500 breacher barrels that won't work.
