    New to shotguns - question

New to shotguns and have a basic question. I see various shotguns (in 12ga) stating they are chambered in 2.75", 3" or 3.25". So can a shotgun chambered in 3" accept 2.75" shells, or can/should you only shoot 3" in it? Does it vary by manufacturer or is it a universal thing? Thanks.

Yes...if it can chamber 3" it will chamber anything smaller as well.

    A 3 1/2" chamber will chamber pretty much any 12 gauge round. 2 3/4-3-3 1/2 etc.

^ Yea, so if you get a gun with a 3.5 chamber you will be able to shoot all three lengths. Now if you only get a 2 3/4" chamer you will be stuck using only that.
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.
